On the Seesaw Scale in Supersymmetric SO(10) Models
The seesaw mechanism, which is responsible for the description of neutrino masses and mixing, requires a scale lower than the unification scale. We propose a new model with spinor superfields playing important roles to generate this seesaw scale, with special attention paid on the Goldstone mode of the U (1) B−L symmetry breaking.
متن کاملLepton Electric Dipole Moments in Non-Degenerate Supersymmetric Seesaw Models
In the context of supersymmetric seesaw models of neutrino masses with non-degenerate heavy neutrinos, we show that Dirac Yukawa interactions N c i (Yν)ijLjH2 induce large threshold corrections to the slepton soft masses via renormalization. While still yielding rates for lepton-flavour-violating processes below the experimental bounds, these contributions may increase the muon and electron ele...
متن کاملPhenomenology of Twisted Moduli in Type I String Inspired Models
We make a first study of the phenomenological implications of twisted moduli in type I intersecting D5-brane models, focussing on the resulting predictions at the LHC using SOFTSUSY to estimate the Higgs and sparticle spectra. Twisted moduli can play an important role in giving a viable string realisation of sequestering in the limit where supersymmetry breaking comes entirely from the twisted ...
متن کاملHidden-Sector Dynamics and the Supersymmetric Seesaw
In light of recent analyses that have shown that nontrivial hidden-sector dynamics in models of supersymmetry breaking can lead to a significant impact on the predicted low-energy supersymmetric spectrum, we extend these studies to consider hidden-sector effects in extensions of the MSSM to include a seesaw model for neutrino masses. A dynamical hidden sector in an interval of mass scales below...
